Judging by some of the misogynistic posts on the "wolf Whistle" thread it seems men's lack of understanding of women's feelings is alive and well.

Men are from Mars and Women from Venus ... don't you believe it! A guy would much rather play with his (cough) venus and a woman would prefer a Mars bar every single time.

Wise words, my foot! He's just stated the bleeding obvious.

Women are no different to men except in some important physical and emotional ways.

If a man did ever truly understand a woman she would moan about having nothing to moan about.

Probably.

Some of them are proper mental and manipulative but then some of them are fucking sound and straightforward. Much like blokes really.

If she likes it roughly up the arse a couple of times a month, and you don't mind obliging, probably in everybody's best interest into avoid pressing her to reveal how and why she acquired such a preference just so that you can "understand her better".

Why complicate things?

When dogs defecate and urinate, they prefer to align their body axis with Earth's north-south geomagnetic field lines.

Game, set and match dogs!

Superfluous 'with' at the end there. I shouldn't type till I've had caffeine.

Absolutely delicious.

So on a thread about female irrationality and propensity to twist facts and be hysterically illogical in pursuit of winning an argument, we have the pearl below from 1985 (who I assume is a bloke, or I'm in a bit of bother here)

So if I follow the 'logic' of his argument correctly, the Daily Mail (who else?) and presumably all the other news outlets, have had in their possession information of multiple incidences of child-slayings by domestic cats (possibly epidemic levels, here, but 1985 doesn't make it clear). However, for sinister reasons of their own, the media have acted to suppress this fact, and instead choose to fabricate stories of innocent dogs maiming and killing children.

The stories about dogs attacking/killing children are LIES. Actually it is CATS that are doing it instead.

Marvellous.

Enjoy your Y chromosome rationality, chaps. I'm more than happy to carry on operating under with my version.

Funny that Nurse. Got a staff and had a cat. We were naturally were cautious with the dog around our toddler grandson but all it did was cuddle up next to him and give him licks. Our grandson was attacked, slashed across the face.

But not by the staffie. By the cat.

Cats are not only useless, but they are evil child-killers. But then I suppose I shouldn't believe everything they put in the Daily Mail.

Like 10,000 spoons...

Yes, dogs can be almost human in their fuckedupness.

Slaves exploited by humans.

No wonder some of them flip out and turn toddlers' faces into hamburger meat.
